Thanks to his father’s passion for the world’s finest wines, Philip’s journey through the wine industry began around the dinner table growing up. After graduating from James Madison University, he and a friend hopped in the car to drive west; leaving behind others’ expectations in pursuit of their own dreams. Several harvest internships in California and abroad established a strong foundation in production, but his ambition eventually blossomed into a passionate pursuit on the business-side. A few great mentors, to whom he feels an insurmountable debt, have brought him through the ranks. Philip joined the Aubert’s in 2012.
