2023 Park Avenue Estate Vineyard Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

Our Park Avenue Estate is the first addition to our Pinot Noir production in twelve years. Grown in the Sebastopol Hills, this new site is defined by red soils, a moderate climate, and estate-farmed, detail-driven viticulture. Growth at the Aubert standard takes time, and in this wine we have discovered newfound elegance and crystalline minerality.

The 2023 Park Avenue Pinot Noir is boisterous and packed with personality. Aromas of pure wild cherry, Santa Rosa plum, and hibiscus emerge quickly, supported by more slowly unfurling heather and graphite soil-borne elements. Structurally, the wine is round and glossy, with an ultra-fine tannin backbone and distinct mineral streak reminiscent of iron ore. Flavors of bright, crushed raspberry and cherry preserve mingle with savory iodine and menthol elements. A wine that is captivating in its open, inviting personality, the 2023 Park Avenue Pinot Noir possesses the structural focus, chiseled acidity, and complexity that are sure to reward many years of cellaring.
